Q: Is it allowed to ask for a registration fee to participants from outside the network and/or from the network for participation in an international event organised within an ITN? (ITN and IAPP 2007 & 2008)
A: Yes, this is possible. Please note that the contribution in Category F (ITN and IAPP 2007 & 2008) foresees an amount of €300 per external participant, per day; if the total cost of the event is more than that provided for in category F a participation fee can be charged. Please note that any net profit for the beneficiary resulting from an event paid for (either in whole or partially) by Category F will be considered as a receipt and must be declared on the cost claim (Form C) when submitting the financial reports.
