Q: Who is responsible if it is found that a recruited researcher was actually not eligible? (All Calls)
A: The recruiting institution bears the sole responsibility to verify and ensure that the recruited researcher meets the eligibility criteria for recruitment. If there is any doubt about the eligibility of a researcher, beneficiaries are encouraged to seek the help of the National Contact Points. On the contrary, in the case of seconded staff in IAPP, please note that it is up to the home (seconding) institute to ensure the eligibility of the fellow.
