Q: What are the rules on the staff exchanges in IAPP?
A: All staff exchanges must be between the public and private sectors. The exchange of know-how via secondments of existing staff is normally expected to be in both directions, although not necessarily symmetrical. Projects with secondments in only one direction are not excluded where there is a clear mutual benefit for both sectors, and where the consortium duly justifies this one-way exchange.
