Q: "Dependencies with other participants": we are two persons having 2 companies; for each company we have the quote at 50% each one. One of our companies is in Italy and has the main activity of aeronautical consulting; the other company is in Romania and has as main activity software production. Now, we have a FP7 proposal under call FP7-AAT-2007-RTD-1 / CSA-SA and this project needs aeronautical consulting and software production. So, the project needs both activities. Could we present our FP7 project with these two companies as participants while the Italian company will be the coordinator ? If not, in alternative, could we use one company as sub-contractor of the participant company ?
A: As you will see in the website on FP7 (indicated hereafter) some conditions for participation to a project are foreseen: Concerning 2 companies established in Italy and Romania, countries member of the EU: they could participate as contractors (and one could be coordinator) to the project if there are two different legal entities registered in their country. Furthermore, these companies should register through the Unique Registration Facility (URF) in order to validate their status. Additional information will be given in the Cords website. Please note that the two legal entities have to be independent.
