Frequently Asked Questions about FP7

Back to results/list of all FAQs

Q: Stage-1 proposal: one partner of our consortium covers more than 50% of the RTD activity and the relevant requested EC funding is more than 50% of the whole request. Are there some limitations to the funding distribution or to the maximum funding request relevant to one single country in the consortium ?
A: There are in fact no ceilings for funding going to one partner. However, the request by one partner for 50% of the budget should be duly justified. Please be reminded that, as mentioned in Annex 4 of the guide for applicants, the evaluators will be looking for evidence of the European impact of the project and the balance in the consortium.
