Q: Questions seeking guidance to which theme or part of the FP to submit a proposal
A: It is essential to consult the relevant work programme sections associated with the call. The work set out in a proposal must correspond to one or more topics, and associated funding scheme(s), indicated in a call for proposals. Proposals that fail to do so will be regarded as ineligible. Even if eligible, a proposal that only corresponds marginally to a call will not receive a high score in the evaluation. It is therefore recommended that you design your proposal with a call in mind. Multidisciplinary proposals addressing several topics may be submitted, provided that the ‘centre of gravity’ lies in a topic or topics open in one particular call. If you believe that your proposal could be relevant to more than one call, it is up to you to decide which one is best suited to the work you propose. The Commission cannot advise you on the choice of a particular or particular call or FP7 theme/part to submit a proposal, although you may wish to submit specific questions related to a particular theme through this enquiry service.
