Q: Where calls for proposals announced? By calls I mean name of subject of business activity that can participate for getting funds.
A: Calls for proposals are listed on the web site of CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service: On the right side of the page you can specify the theme of your interest. After choosing a call you will have access to all the relevant documents (including Call Fiche, Work Programme, Guide for Applicants, Rules for Participation). Please note that in the Work Programmes you can find detailed information about the research activities that are funded under the specific calls. However, note that Work Programmes are still provisional (changes are possible) and subject to formal confirmation. This confirmation will be published in the Official Journal. Please be informed that in most cases EU research funding through FP7 is to be sought by building a consortium in order to submit a project proposal in response to a call. The eligibility of these consortia also varies according to different conditions related to the type of action of instrument. At least three legal entities must participate, each of which is established in a Member State or Associated country, and no two of which are established in the same Member State or Associated country. This and further information can be found on the CORDIS (the Community Research and Development Information Service) website at: Furthermore, the Network of National Contact Points provides help on all aspects of the Seventh Framework programme (FP7) in the national language.
