Q: How to become an independent expert in FP7 to evaluate projects?
A: The European Commission will appoint independent experts to assist with evaluations required under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and its specific programmes. The Commission will choose independent experts considering the skills and knowledge appropriate to the tasks assigned to them. The registration service for FP7, the database for Independent Experts is now available on the Participant Portal: The Independent Experts will be selected to assist the European Commission with research and innovation assignments including the evaluation of proposals, the review of projects and the monitoring of programmes or policies.
