Q: What if an entity is a non-profit organisation, as well as a public body and a research organisation? For example, to fill in Section A.2.1 of the proposal, does it choose all 3 categories? If not, which one?
A: If the entity is a non-profit public body and also meets the definition of a research organisation in Article 2(7) of the FP7 Rules for Participation, it may choose the status that is the most advantageous. It is to be noted that the FP7 model grant agreement contains special provisions for public bodies in the context of the Guarantee Fund (see Annex II, General Conditions, Article II.21.6).
