Q: We want to submit a proposal. How do we present our budget? Is there a budget form?
A: The budget is presented in the project’s proposal as the estimated costs which would have to be incurred to implement the project (excluding VAT or other ineligible costs). On the basis of that estimation, the maximum contribution to the project would be calculated according to the type of activity and beneficiary, eg 50% reimbursement of R&D activities costs (or 75% depending on the type of beneficiary), 50% reimbursement of demonstration activities. Of course, in the course of the project, the EC contribution will be based on costs actually incurred and not on the estimation. The forms to be filled in concerning the budget are to be found in part A3 of the proposal. Instructions on completing them are found in the "Guide for Applicants" relating to each call (see the following page on the Cordis website).
