> The writer graduated from high school on a scientific curriculum, then attended the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan, he graduated in 1975.
> In addition he attended qualifying courses (about textile, technological and researches management) in USA (Georgia, California and Texas) as well as in Europe (England, Switzerland and Germany).

> In 1977 he joined Manifattura di Legnano, leading group in the Italian cotton spinning, as responsible of the service "Professional Development".
> From 1980 he became responsible of "Quality and Research" department, coordinating all the activities concerning quality problems.
> January 1987/February 1998 General manager of Centro Tessile Cotoniero e Abbigliamento - Busto Arsizio.
> From March 1998 Director API - Associazione Piccole e Medie Industrie della Provincia di Varese and General Manager of APISERVIZI VARESE srl.
