Focus on European research!
6 May 2010, Brussels, Flagey
European research will be in the spotlight on Thursday 6 May at Flagey's Studio 4, as part of the Nobel Laureate week organised for the Free University of Brussels' (ULB's) 175th anniversary (3-7 May).
From 15:30 to 18:00, two audiovisual co-productions will be broadcast: "Tara - Voyage to the heart of the climate machine" and "Welcome to the nanoworld – Nano's around us".
From 18:00 to 20:00, Christian Du Brulle (Le Soir) will moderate a forum for the general public on European research: Objective 2020: 20 Nobel Prize laureates from Europe? The forum will bring together Eric Maskin, Nobel Prize for Economics 2007 and Ronald Inglehart, a political scientist, as well as two grantees from the European Research Council, and international PhD students and young researchers.
