2nd “Policy meets Research”-Workshop on Sustainable Food Consumption
27-28 January 2011, Vienna, Austria
In a nutshell, the aim of CORPUS is to connect scientific evidence on sustainable production and consumption (SCP) with policy-makers’ needs in the decision-making process on SCP issues. The project is closely affiliated to the ESDN (two ESDN Steering Group countries, Finland and Austria, and RIMAS, that runs the ESDN Office, are part of the project consortium) and exchange with ESDN members is an important element of the project. Through the CORPUS knowledge platform (www.scp-knowledge.eu), policy-makers and researchers can already access the latest scientific evidence on sustainable consumption in the domains of food, mobility, and housing.
The focus of the second workshop is on policy instruments to promote more sustainable food consumption.
