INFORMATION DAY ON MEDIUM- TO LONG-TERM RESEARCH IN THE AREAS OF ‘RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES’ AND ‘SOCIO-ECONOMIC TOOLS FOR ENERGY’
Brussels, Belgium, October 2004 (the exact date is subject to confirmation)
This Information Day, organised by the European Commission’s Directorate for Energy Research, will provide information on the call for research proposals in the fields of ‘Renewable energy technologies’ and ‘Socioeconomic tools for energy’, to be published at the beginning of September 2004. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss different aspects of the call and meet potential project partners. For registration and further information.

FUTURE VISION FOR PV: A VISION FOR PV TECHNOLOGY UP TO 2030 AND BEYOND
Brussels, Belgium, 28 September 2004
The objective of this conference organised by the European Commission will be to present the major conclusions of the PV Technology Research Advisory Council’s (the PV-TRAC) report: ‘A vision for PV technology up to 2030 and beyond’. Research and industry representatives, together with other stakeholders, will provide their feedback on the report and three parallel sessions will be organised to enhance the participants’ involvement in the process to define the next steps.
