Royal Military School (ERM/KMS)

"The Laboratory for Plasma Physics of the Ecole Royale Militaire / Koninklijke Militaire School (LPP-ERM/KMS) is conducting experimental and theoretical research on plasma physics and fusion energy in the framework of the Association EURATOM-Belgian State for thermonuclear fusion." - Quote from site.

The Free University of Brussels (ULB)

The Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK/CEN)

"Euratom and the Belgian State signed an association agreement in 1969 to coordinate and support the participation of Belgium in the European fusion R&D activities. Two laboratories were part of this starting initiative:

  • the 'Laboratory for Plasma Physics' of the Royal Military Academy (LPP-ERM/KMS), and
  • the 'Service de Chimie-Physique II' of the ULB (Free University of Brussels) later called 'Service de physique statistique et des plasmas' (SPP-ULB)

A few years later, in 1975, the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK•CEN) joined the association as well." - Quote from this document.
