FP7 Calls for Proposals 2011 published
On 20 July 2010 the EU published more than 50 calls for proposals under the
7th Framework Programme for RD&D, worth a total of EUR 6.4 billion. Many of

Support for energy research
Calls of the FP7 Energy Theme include some 30 topics on renewable energies (PV, CSP, wind energy, bioenergy, solar heating and cooling), CCS, smart electricity networks as well as on energy efficiency. The whole spectrum from fundamental research to applied research and demonstration activities is covered.
A special focus is on international cooperation where, for the first time, Marie-Curie-type researchers exchange actions with the US and Japan are supported.
The great majority of the FP7 Energy topics are in line with the Implementation Plans of the Industrial Initiatives of the SET-Plan.
Energy research is also supported in other FP7 Themes and Programmes. For an
