A number of energy-related calls for proposals under FP7 are planned to be published on 20 July 2010:
FP7-ENERGY-2011-1: general call focusing on research with a long-term horizon
FP7-ENERGY-2011-2: general call focusing on research with a short-term horizon and on demonstration
FP7-ENERGY-2011-JAPAN: coordinated call with Japan on photovoltaics
FP7-OCEAN-2011: call on ocean research organized together with Themes 2 – Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology (KBBE), 6 – Environ-
ment, and 7 - Transport
FP7-ENERGY-2011-EXCHANGE: call for International Research Staff Exchange in the field of energy research (USA and Japan)
FP7-2011-NMP-ENV-ENERGY-ICT-EeB: cross-thematic call on energy-efficient buildings in the context of the European Economic Recovery Plan
FP7-NMP-ENERGY-2011: joint call together with Theme 4 – NMP Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies on innovative photovoltaic cell processes and architectures
FP7-ERANET-2011-RTD: joint call on ERA-NETs together with other FP7 themes.
In addition, the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) call for proposal has been published on 18 June 2010.

Agenda
In the morning session an introduction on the political context of the energy theme's work programme will be provided, followed by presentations of the individual calls. The afternoon session will focus on the rules of participation and on energy research supported by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel and the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking.
