Directorate RTD-K "Energy" has organised a workshop to discuss the implementation of demonstrations of smart electricity distribution network solutions that integrate distributed energy resources and demand response.
This workshop offered the opportunity :
- to present results of demonstration experiments of ongoing or recently completed FP6-FP7 projects and to discuss remaining issues;
- to discuss how open questions could be addressed with further, possibly larger scale experiments;
- to present plans for future demonstration projects;
- to ask questions and get answers concerning the ENERGY-2010-2 call, topic 7.1-1: "Large-scale demonstration of smart electricity distribution networks with distributed generation and active customer participation".
