Karin Metzlaff
Karin Metzlaff, born 1963, is Executive Director of the European Plant Science Organisation, EPSO. She is co-author of publications on opportunities and challenges for the plant sector and science at large in Europe and at global levels. She is member of the European Technology Platform “Plants for the Future” Executive Committee and Steering Council, the Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE), and EPSO is member of the Global Plant Council (GPC). She has post-doctoral research experience in various areas of biology and a PhD in plant genetics and molecular biology.
