How can the new Member States best respond to the challenge of the Europe of Knowledge 2020?

This session focused on what the new Member States have to gain and what their universities can contribute to the Europe of Knowledge 2020. It discussed different needs and necessities in the new Member States, which represent a variety of research communities, and highlighted examples of best practice for Europe-wide co-operation.
