Description of the activities presented on the stand

An open space offers interaction with INCO staff in preparation of enhanced international S&T co-operation with Mediterranean partner countries.

Posters and videos will provide overview information on the thematic thrusts and opportunities of such co-operation. Thematic thrusts (water, natural risks, cultural heritage, renewable energy, health) are the result of dialogue with partner countries. Mutual interest and equal partnership are the underlying principles of this co-operation.

Documentation is available in the form of project catalogues, thematic publications, impact assessment, leaflets etc.

Description of the activities presented on the stand

In support of international co-operation, INTAS promotes multilateral partnerships between researchers in the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union (NIS) and the INTAS member states to advance scientific knowledge for the benefit of all partners. INTAS' main actions are:

  • open, co-operative, and thematic calls for research and network proposals in all areas of science, both fundamental and applied, in line with thematic priorities established through broad and scientific dialogues;
  • special support for young NIS scientists;
  • innovation grants to encourage the exploitation of research results.
