Information for proposers

Are you interested in submitting a research proposal in the area of food quality and safety? The sixth EU Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6) can provide you with support .

Regularly (at least once a year), the Commission publishes calls for proposals in the area of Food Quality and Safety. Please visit the CORDIS website and find the current calls opened in this area. From there, you can also gather the updated information you need to prepare and submit a proposal (work programmes, priorities, timetables, guides for proposers, and other relevant information).

FP6 operates five different types of instruments through which research projects can obtain funding. These are Integrated Projects (IP), Networks of Excellence (NoE), Specific Targeted Research Projects (STREP), Coordination Actions (CA) and Specific Support Actions (SSA). IPs and NoEs are new instruments aimed at attaining critical mass, integrating research capacities and managing simplification and European added value.
