Boost your communication skills from the comfort of your own lab in the first CommNet webinar for bio-economy researchers
Bio-economy projects can get closer to their EU-wide research community by signing up for the first in a series of 2013 CommNet Webinars to be held on Tuesday 30 April at 12.30pm.
This first 45 minute event –‘Making the Most of CommNet Communication Services’ – will show how bio-economy research projects can benefit from CommNet membership, for example with communications training events, webinars on using social media, participation in targeted industry and policy related webinars, and developing educational materials for schools.
Everyone is welcome to join this webinar and online registration is simple. Participants are advised to register and logon in advance to ensure they get a ‘seat’. The event is hosted by Rhonda Smith, Chair of the CommNet network, and Mario Martinoli, co-ordinator of CommFABnet, the webinar organiser .
CommFABnet is an EU-funded support action to boost communication, and the communication of research results across the bio-economy spectrum in the research fields of food, fisheries, agriculture and biotechnologies. Developing best practice and helping scientists communicate better – such as through webinars – is one of CommFABnet’s core activities.
