This video presents the RegioStars 2010 winning project in the “Innovative use of brownfield sites in an urban context” category. Built on the heritage of the Genk region’s mining past, the multipurpose C-Mine centre is the result of converting a former industrial site into a hub for entrepreneurs and other visitors. Its two concert rooms, exhibition space and design centre were due to open in September 2010.
