RegioStars 2010: “new business model” project

This video showcases the RegioStars 2010 winning project in the “ICT applications by or for SMEs” category. The first of its kind in Brandenburg, this project has pooled expertise from several regional partners by using telemedicine in order to monitor and treat patients who have suffered heart problems outside their traditional medical environment. Its general aim is to reduce the number of hospital admissions per patient. Over 100 patients have benefited from this project.
