Mirosław Bancerz lost his job as a heavy goods vehicle driver when he started to develop glaucoma at the age of 58. But thanks to the EU-funded Individual Employment Paths project, he acquired new electrical and maintenance skills, and now works as caretaker for a housing cooperative.
