Event App to access programme details and network during the event

All participants, speakers, media and organisers attending the European Week of Region and Cities , once registered to at least one working session, will be invited the week before the event to download and use the mobile application. This user-friendly online platform provides information about the full list of events – an important feature giving that no printed programme will be provided during the event – as well as the list of workshops you are registered to ('My Agenda'), venues information and floorplans for the main venues. It will entail a documents library and facilities for bookmarking and note taking.

The mobile application is also a key tool to browse through list of participants, identify key contacts and get in touch, thanks to integrated messaging and matchmaking facilities. Moreover, the application may also be useful if you attend some interactive workshops as it provides live voting and poling facilities.

We recommend that you download the application prior to the event to get familiar with it. Hostesses at the badge delivery desks will direct you to the closest App helpdesk in case you have not downloaded the app at the time you get your badge. Qualified and multi-lingual personnel will assist you there with the app installation.
Moreover, technicians will be present onsite throughout the event to address any issues that might arise and answer possible questions.

Links to download the application will be provided the week before the event.

Note: the app is only for registered participants only.

Tweeting and networking

In addition to the Networking facilities provided via the mobile application, networking is also facilitate through the Meeting Place. Located in the European Committee of the Regions (rue Belliard, 101), the Meeting Place is a central location for participants, journalists and organisers to make contacts and exchange information and ideas.

On social media, please use hashtag #EUWRC for twitter. The Commission will be tweeting about the event from @EU_Regional, the European Committee of the Regions from @EU_CoR. To continue the debate even after the European Week, networking and debates can still go on via the online platform.
