The official OPEN DAYS press conference will take place on 12 October 2005, 13:00, at the European Commission's press room in the Berlaymont building, Rond Point Schuman. Please note that access to the Commission's press room will require accreditation from the OPEN DAYS Conference Secretariat.

Badges and press packs can be picked up at the Official InfoPoint at the Committee of the Regions building, Rue Belliard 101 during the OPEN DAYS between 10 and 13 October.

(18 August 2005) In an updated press release concerning the OPEN DAYS 2005, Joseph Borrell, the President of the European Parliament, and John Prescott, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom , added their support for the event.
