Innovative Projects showcased at Open Days2012

The European Commission recently announced the finalists for the 2013 RegioStars Awards for innovation. The 27 projects competing in five categories highlight the excellent and innovative work being done on the ground and represent a good geographical spread across the Union. The finalists are welcomed to Brussels today to present their projects and to meet Commissioner Johannes Hahn at the Committee of the Regions. The Commissioner has also announced the categories for the 2014 Awards during Open Days 2012.
