EUREGIO III - Final conference, Brussels

EUREGIO III, an organisation supporting EU regions to maximise health gains through the effective use of EU Structural Funds for health and the reduction of health inequalities among EU regions has announced their 'Final Conference', to be held on 22 September 2011 in Brussels as a follow up to 5 recent workshops in Poland, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and Brussels.
The training workshops aimed to develop knowledge and skills in the design, implementation and evaluatation of Structural Funds investments for health and to compare best practice between participating countries. The 'Final Conference' will review key findings of the project 'Learning lessons from health investments in Structural Funds' and their implications in the context of emerging EU policy and planning for the next period. The conference will also be a platform for discussion on the necessary actions to be taken at SF management and delivery levels to influence SF policy planning and implementation for the 2014-2020 period, at EU, national, regional and local levels.
