Communicating EU Regional Policy
INFORM network
The EU-wide INFORM network of communication officers
INFORM is an EU-wide network of communication officers responsible for communicating ERDF and Cohesion Fund investments in the 27 Member States. Its main objective is to improve the visibility of EU part-financed projects by sharing experiences and good practices. It seeks to improve the quality of communication activities, in order to increase awareness among the wider public about the benefits of Regional policy projects. The legal basis for the INFORM network is Article 10 (2) of the Commission Regulation 1828/2006
.
The European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional Policy supports the exchange of information and good practices between the communication officers responsible for information and publicity activities of ERDF and Cohesion Fund interventions in the Member States, by animating the INFORM network, participating and contributing to the meetings organised on a national level, and helping the INFORM network members to interpret the information and publicity legislation.
Membership to the INFORM network is open to staff working on information and publicity issues in a Managing Authority or Joint Technical Secretariat (European Territorial Co-operation programmes). If you fulfill the criteria to be part of the INFORM network, contact: regio-infopub@ec.europa.eu
If you are a member of the INFORM network, join the forum of the INFORM network on https://www.yammer.com/regionetwork/ and discuss communication related issues with your peers!
