INFORM-Netzwerk

The EU-wide INFORM-Netzwerk of communication officers

INFORM is an EU-wide network of communication officers responsible for communicating ERDF and Cohesion Fund investments in the 27 Member States. Its main objective is to improve the visibility of EU part-financed projects by sharing experiences and good practices. It seeks to improve the quality of communication activities, in order to increase awareness among the wider public about the benefits of Regional policy projects. The legal basis for the INFORM-Netzwerk is Article 10 (2) of the Commission Regulation 1828/2006 pdf.

The European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional Policy supports the exchange of information and good practices between the communication officers responsible for information and publicity activities of ERDF and Cohesion Fund interventions in the Member States, by animating the INFORM-Netzwerk, participating and contributing to the meetings organised on a national level, and helping the INFORM-Netzwerk members to interpret the information and publicity legislation.

Membership to the INFORM-Netzwerk is open to staff working on information and publicity issues in a Managing Authority or Joint Technical Secretariat (European Territorial Co-operation programmes). If you fulfill the criteria to be part of the INFORM-Netzwerk, contact: regio-infopub@ec.europa.eu

If you are a member of the INFORM-Netzwerk, join the forum of the INFORM-Netzwerk on https://www.yammer.com/regionetwork/ and discuss communication related issues with your peers!
