Co-financing rate

The term 'co-financing rate' refers to the contribution EU funding makes to a programme. Co-financing is usually subject to a maximum threshold, which is defined as a percentage of the total value of the programme, or part thereof. In the specific context of the Structural and Cohesion Funds 2007-13, Annex III of Regulation 1083/2006 lays down the ceilings applicable to co-financing rates.
