The meeting is organised in accordance with Article 51 of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013 establishing for an annual meeting to review the performance of each programme. It also aims at discussing with the Managing Authorities and the Joint Secretariats of all the Interreg programmes the most crucial topics related to their implementation.

The meeting will start in the afternoon of 26 April with a plenary session discussing the state of play of implementation of the Interreg programmes. First reflections on Interreg post-2020 will also be shared. The morning session of 27 April will be devoted to four parallel workshops and will be followed by the visit of three projects implemented in Malta. The closing plenary session of 28 April morning will be devoted to the presentation and discussion of the outcomes of the four workshops in the presence of a panel of key stakeholders.
