Finalist: Raised Bogs – a Unique European Area

Public Vote
Rank # 9

A multimedia map of the peatland, stands for experiments, simulators: these are all tempting attractions of the peatland museums on the PL-SK borderland. The museums are housed in 2 cultural heritage facilities: a wooden building more than a hundred years’ old in Chochołów, Poland, included in the UNESCO world heritage list, and a renaissance parsonage in the Oravský hrad Castle, Slovakia. Complemented with soft measures, the project warrants a genuine trip covering cultural and natural aspects of the borderland bogs.

The ranking shows the preliminary results, based on the votes received through the InfoRegio website and does not contain the additional social media votes of the last week. The final winner of the public choice award will be announced during the award ceremony at 19:00 9 October 2018!
