Deadline extended: Young journalists and journalism students may apply for direct experience in European journalism

The application period of the Youth4Regions programme has been extended until 23 July and the scope of the programme has been enlarged to include young journalists. Eligible applicants can win a trip to Brussels to cover the European Week of Cities and Regions 2018. Apply with your original article or video report on an EU-funded project (European Regional Development Fund or the Cohesion Fund) until 23 July 2018 at http://europa.eu/!HQ48Rd. You will have the chance to join other 27 students in Brussels on 7 – 11 October.

The Youth4Regions Media Programme is an annual event dedicated to preparing the next generation of journalists specialized in Regional Policy. It takes place within the European Week of Regions and Cities. The Commission is covering accommodation and travelling.
