€23.5 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is invested in the upgrade of the production facilities of aviation manufacturer Embraer Portugal, established in the city of Évora, in the region of Alentejo. This investment will boost the company's innovation capacity, allowing it to produce metallic components for the next generation of Embraer jets, more resource efficient. 100% of the site's production will be exported. The project will indeed contribute to the development of an emerging aerospace cluster in the region and create 200 direct jobs in the first years of its implementation.
