A key setting envisaged for discussion between the ESIF/OPs Managing Authorities (MAs), RIS3 implementing bodies and EIT Climate-KIC partners from the EIT RIS countries/regions. The main objectives are: (1) gather key stakeholders from different European countries and regions and facilitate interaction, exchange of good practices, identify barriers and obstacles appearing in each of the project phases, (2) explore collaboration opportunities between MAs and EIT Climate-KIC stakeholders, and (3) share experiences in developing effective collaboration tools, accessing finance and being integrated to global value chains. The event also aims to provide recommendations for future collaborative activities in order to exploit synergies between different RIS3 and EIT-RIS.
The event mainly target national and regional ESIF/OPs Managing Authorities, partners and potential partners of EIT Climate-KIC, national and regional authorities in charge of designing and implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies and representatives from institutions involved and/or having interest in EU funding programmes (particularly ESIF, H2020 and EIT funding model), EIT Climate-KIC activities and synergies.
