IT4Innovations is a supercomputer centre aimed at delivering scientifically excellent and relevant research for industry.
The project ensured the scientific capacities required for such research, particularly the development and application of supercomputing and embedded systems. These supercomputers, which were co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, are amongst the most powerful in the world, and. their research capacity can be used to simulate climate change, manage traffic and even help prevent natural disasters.
The investment has contributed to the creation of 200 new highly-skilled workplaces in R&D.
