The Proceedings of the 10th European Week of Regions and Cities are now available. The publication is a compendium of most of the OPEN DAYS' Brussels-based workshops. It also provide an overall event and a media coverage analysis. Hard copies are available as of mid January 2013. They can be either picked up at the Committee of the Regions' Info Point, or requested electronically. |

OPEN DAYS events partners are invited to propose projects for an exhibition with the working title "100 EUrban solutions". We are looking for transferable good practice in the different fields of urban and regional solutions (e.g. waste and water treatment, public transport, energy...). For more details refer to the chapters 1.7 and 2.7 of the OPEN DAYS Information Pack. |

The Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Commission Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) have invited interested stakeholders to the OPEN DAYS 2013 kick-off meeting 11 December. Opened by Directors-General Gerhard Stahl (CoR) and Walter Deffaa (DG REGIO), the meeting will provide the opportunity to evaluate the OPEN DAYS 2012, present the 2013 thematic priorities and inform about conditions of participation and timetable for 2013. The webstreamed meetingwill also be the occasion to present other CoR 2013 events. |

The four lucky people from Bulgaria, Romania and Poland who submitted the best pictures have each won €1000 of camera equipment and a trip for two to Brussels to collect their prizes during the "Open Days". Known as the 'Programme at a Glance', the pocket-format publication provides a generic overview of all OPEN DAYS seminars (title, code, timing, organisers and venues), as well as their location on the Brussels European district map. It also sums up the main information as to the OPEN DAYS mobile phone application, as well as the tweeter and flikr accounts. |

The Directorate-General for Regional Policy, European Commission, and the Regional Studies Association invite early career researchers in European regional policy to present their research in the form of a poster at OPEN DAYS 2012, the European Week of Cities and Regions (8th-11th - October).
