 OPEN DAYS 2005
Registration

How to register?

Participation at the 115 seminars, workshops and sessions of the OPEN DAYS 2006 is free of charge. Registration is only possible online through the registration webpage (currently closed), which includes seminars and workshops descriptions, as well as dates and venues. Should you wish to print the programme first, please go to this page for a printable version.

The registration webpage (currently closed), provides a search tool in order to find a topic-specific seminar or workshop. The search can be done by keywords or themes, speakers’ names, programme codes or dates. Each seminar has been attributed a code showing date, section and number of the event. For example, the code "11A01" stands for a seminar on the 11 October, in programme section A, seminar No. 1. The attendance to the Opening and Closing Sessions on 9 and 12 October as well as the Official Reception on 11 October and other social events is upon private invitation only. If one or several seminars of interest are found, select those by clicking on a tick box. You will then be asked to enter your personal data (name, organisational affiliation, e-mail etc). Once completed and submitted, the request for attending the selected workshops/seminars will automatically be sent to the different workshop organisers. Registration requests are then taken care of as follows:

First step: Once the request for attendance has been received, the online registration system will automatically send an e-mail confirming that the request(s) for attendance arrived. This automatic message is not a confirmation of participation.

Second step: Depending on the number of seats available, and within two weeks following the request(s), participants will know whether they can attend the workshop/ seminar or not. They will be notified by a confirmation - or rejection – e-mail for each attendance request.

Third step: Participants are requested to print out the confirmation e-mail proving that they have been accepted to the workshop/seminar and bring them as "tickets" to access the venues.

Check your registration status:

Should you wish to check the status of your different requests while under process, please go to the registration webpage (currently closed) and click the “My requests” link.

At the beginning of October, all accepted participants will receive by e-mail an overview of their confirmed attendances.

Practical information - Interpretation

Please note that for the OPEN DAYS 2006, efforts have been made to provide interpretation for each workshop, whereas in previous years this was not the case. Please check what interpretation facilities it has been possible to make available in the online programme, against each individual workshop.
