2000-2006 programmes financed by the ERDF

The regional development programmes (operational programmes or single programming documents) are presented to the European Commission by the Member States in order to benefit from Structural Funds co-financing within the framework of the priority regional Objectives. By common accord, the Member State authorities and the Commission establish the priorities for action and the level of financial assistance to be provided by the European Union.

Programme summaries

In some cases, the adoption of the programmes is preceded by the adoption of a Community support framework which lays down the general strategy for ERDF assistance in a certain number of regions within a Member State.

For more information on the programming documents, you may wish to consult the web sites of the national or regional authorities responsible for their implementation. You will also find contact details for these authorities at the end of the programme summaries.
