The rationale for this session is to look at the urban acquis through concrete success cases of implementation on the ground. At the same time, the session aims at illustrating what could have been done (negative aspects or missed opportunities) in the framework of the urban dimension.

The aim of this session is to identify the future challenges for the urban dimension within cohesion policy for the next 20 years. This should address thematic coverage, delivery mechanisms and governance.
