    The Innovative Enterprise Week Sofia 2018 will bring together more than 300 key participants to discuss the opportunities and further needs of financial instruments fostering research and innovation across Europe.

    The event is an initiative by the European Commission, organised by the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria, in association with the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Investment Fund (EIF) and heavily involving the Bulgarian ecosystem, supported by Tech Tour Global.

  • FET seminar "Artificial photosynthesis: From basic principles to technological impact"

    The next FET seminar “Artificial photosynthesis: From basic principles to technological impact”, organised by DG CONNECT, DG RTD and DG ENER, will focus on presenting how the artificial photosynthesis works.
  • The role of thematic networks in EU agricultural innovation

    Over 20 thematic networks are or have been funded under Horizon 2020 to bridge the gap between research and practice in agriculture. They cover a broad range of issues from disease management to value chains and are a cornerstone of the EIP-AGRI. This workshop will give, in a compact and interactive way, insights in dynamics and results of these networks.
  • Interactive innovation in action – Multi-Actor projects learning from each other

    DG AGRI Research and Innovation Unit
    The concept of “multi-actor approach”, a practical translation of the interactive innovation, has been introduced for the first time in the Horizon 2020 work programme 2014-2015 under the Societal challenge addressing agriculture and forestry. Since then, over 80 projects have been selected. The European Commission organised a workshop to trigger interaction and exchange of best practices between these projects’ coordinators and produce interesting recommendations for the future.

    The preregistration for Nanocar Race II is now open and will close at the end of June 2018.
