The European Commission is organising an Information Day to present the 2017 calls for proposals of Horizon 2020's Societal Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials".
Representatives of the research community, business, and public authorities are invited to join the event on Wednesday, 14 September 2016 in the European Commission's Charlemagne building.
Vision2020: The Horizon Network will hold its second Climate Helix Event at University of Valencia Botanic Garden, on 29th and 30th June, kindly hosted by Institute for Ceramic Technology (ITC-Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica) and Climate KIC Spain.

The event is a follow-up of the Workshop "Towards a European market for Climate Services" (Brussels, 18 March 2014), designed to initiate a visionary and forward looking discussion on the development of a European market for climate services. One of its outcomes was the proposal to design a research and innovation Roadmap for climate services to be implemented through Horizon 2020 and beyond.
The third global science conference on climate-smart agriculture takes place on 16-18 March 2015 in Montpellier France. Its ambition is to build tomorrow's research agenda and to bridge the gap between science policy on climate change and agriculture.
