IM.in – Immigrant Integration in Cities of Europe
Summary
The project aims at contributing to exchange of experience and practices of local government units and other local stakeholders in implementing local policies, measures and activities supporting integration of foreign immigrants into local communities. The main activity will be the visit of Treviso delegation to Zagreb for a study tour of various services and stakeholders in integration of immigrants and an international conference to exchange experiences and practices. The purpose of the exchange is to support future development of local integration policies in the light of increase influx immigrants in the near future, both in Treviso and Zagreb. Also during the study visit, which will be held during the 4th national Week of Refugees in Croatia, the participants will visit various public events organised within this Week. These activities will provide various opportunities for participants from both communities to exchange their experiences and practices, establish new networks for cooperation and present to the public the integration of immigrants in a positive and beneficial manner.
