Title: EUROPEAN TRADITION For EUROPEAN FUTURE
Summary
The project "European tradition for European future" is going to be held on the first weekend in October (3rd till 5th of October 2014). It is going to be a part of traditional event called "Thanksgiving to Autumn". It involves participants of Klanjec (Croatia), Wilamowice (Poland), Rajecke Teplice (Slovakia), Kozje and Bistrica ob Sotli (Slovenia). Main aim of this meeting is development of better communication and developing a sense of European integrity, at first by exchange of cultural and historical knowledge, but also exchange of experiences concerning politics, business, economics and common life of an European citizen. Specific goals are: learning about EU policies, promotion of traditional national values and their inclusion in the European cultural heritage, inclusions of the youth in activities of local community and stimulating the citizens of future participation in similar programmes. Main and specific goals of this meeting are going to be achieved trough debates, game "EU Parlament election", concerts, shows and workshop. Traditional and cultural heritage of partners will be presented on the event "Thanksgiving to Autumn" , thus their heritage will be promoted to other citizens. Traditions fair will be organized in which will be promoted european (polish, croatian, slovenian, slovakian) traditional and native products, so the experience of production of this products will be exchanged between partners. Trough the 3 days of project, debate about funds of EU, parlament of EU, workshop about traditional dances, educational game will be held. All this activities should contribute to development of future cooperation and friendship treaty between cultural associations.
