Creativity, dynamism and living traditions - the Europe of young people
Summary
The project aims to implement the below objectives at international level:- Exchange of opinions- Establishment of a constructive dialogue- Formation of standpoints in connection with EU affairs.- Building and strengthening of partnerships.All these will be implemented via a program which will be performed in thematic units - these topics will elaborate on the important and determining issues of our time, thus they will provide new lessons, knowledge and experience for all age groups. The most important topics are the EU accession, the place and role of young people in today’s world, the respect for traditions, the preservation of cultural diversity and the recognition and development of creativity. The partners will arrive from different countries and typical cultural circles, which will ensure exciting dialogues, comparison of different opinions and presentation of new aspects. The program will be pervaded by the objectives of the Europe for Citizens program, which will bring the fundamental ideas of the EU closer to the participants in an innovative form. This way the following topics will get into focus:- what does accession mean for the partners and those interested, - the importance of participation in national and European-level voting,- how should we treat the traditions of our past, and whether they do have a role in shaping the current image of the EU or not,- how the young people of specific countries do experience their youth and opportunities,- what can a person do with their own talent and creativity,- whether we are aware of the values which have formed the special character of the modern nations or not.The project will be implemented in Croatia in January 2015, in the Member State which acceded the EU for the last time.
