Summary

The Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco( AEC) is situated in Oporto, at the village of Campanhã, that has the largest number of lower socio-economic neighborhoods designated by City Hall. A large number of individuals of the gypsy community live within this village. The AEC, currently includes seven education and teaching establishments : the Basic Schools with Kindergarten ( EB1JI ) Falcão , Corujeira , N ª Sra Campanhã , S. Roque Lameira , Cerco and Lagarteiro and Basic and Secondary School of Cerco ( Cerco EBS / host school ) . The Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco is included in the third Program of Educational Territories of Priority Intervention ( TEIP3 ) .
In the school year 2016/17 the school population consists of 2204 students, 68.9% benefit from economic aid within school social action.
The teaching staff consists of 244 members and 75 non-teaching professionals.
The needs of the AEC are in line with the objectives of Erasmus + program in this regard we have to improve and update the methods and approaches used in teaching, more effective activities for the benefit of local communities, improve practices allow involve actively disadvantaged groups, improve skills at management level, to take knowledge about the teaching methods of the XXI century and examples of good practice in this area. The experience abroad will help our team improve their skills and language skills and increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.
We proceed to the selection of 32 members of the staff of the AEC. We selected 16 courses Comenius database / Grundtvig and Erasmus through research on the websites: http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/ and http://www.schooleducationgateway.eu/en/pub/tools.htm:

The experience of Future Classroom Lab courses! EUN, Quarter Mediation, IDEC, International Study Programmes, C2LEARN ACADEMY, DOREA Educational Institute, as adult education providers in the area related to the course is very relevant and will benefit the personal and professional development of our employees.
The course participants will inform the rest of the educational community of the benefits of training, through meetings / workshops in order to share the acquired knowledge. This knowledge acquired will be implemented in the management and organization of the AEC and in each class for each teacher. The results will be disseminated to the outside through the etwinning platforms. Experiences will be shared with parents and educators through meetings with the Class Director and with the rest of the community by the publication on the site and on the school Facebook.
These courses serve to help and achieve the objectives proposed in the educational project of the AEC. To measure this effect, we will implement participant feedback questionnaires to students / staff and analyze the responses to see if there was increased satisfaction, measuring educational outcomes. In addition, we will assess whether the change in results achieved was due to the undertaken formation, by comparing these new results with the previous year. Finally, we hope to find partners in other countries to implement more KA2.
