The “Science 4 all” project is focused on exchange of good practice in teaching and learning science and mathematics subjects as well as their coincidence with labour market and entrepreneurship. The project will be dedicated to teachers and students from four lower secondary schools in Poland, France, Estonia and Portugal. We are going to emphasise possibilities of effective learning and working within the European Union, especially for pupils from disadvantaged areas. Students will increase competences and motivation through participation in innovative learning activities, exploring the labour market using maths, science, technology and appropriate use of modern technologies. Implementing cross-curricular and problem-based teaching, integrating new technology into teaching and learning and teaching through innovative pedagogical ways, including labour market requirements will allow teachers to enhance professional skills. Thanks to the project activities, including transnational training, teaching or learning ones, both pupils and teachers will improve social, cultural, intercultural and language skills, know partner countries and Europe better, improve foreign language skills and strengthen intercultural awareness in European dimension. Project activities are linked to defined work tasks, partner meetings and dissemination activities. In the “Science 4 all” project activities can be local or transnational or both. The groups of teachers in each school will analyse, plan and discuss the progress of the project all along the way through tools created for the project management. Local activities will be settled by every partner school according to regional opportunities and with transnational collaboration. The persons responsible for implementation activities on local level are the project school coordinators. Teachers will consult the activities to be carried out and will cooperate within school project team, school staff at school, and with their partners abroad.Partners will organise events or competitions in the field of science, mathematics or labour market, professional development events/workshops for teachers of partner schools and video-conferences between project partners. Teachers will plan and conduct innovative lessons based on good practice in partner schools and recommendations of educational institutions. Thanks to rules of new mathematics contest wide groups of pupils will become motivated to learn this subject. Pupils will also participate in workshops or events organised by educational or science institutions, labour market guidance, counselling and coaching, as well as workshops on “Entrepreneurship and economy”. They will plan and do science experiments. School communities will have the opportunity to see exhibitions on mathematics, science or professions in school halls. Besides the results mentioned above, the following outputs will also be produced:• “Weather stations” built near partner schools and an educational project on weather in partner countries,• Slide presentations introducing the partner schools,• Films “24h of my life in 2 minutes”,• Report “Partnership. Key Findings & Recommendations”,• Mini-dictionary with basic terms in language of the partner schools and languages of some other nations attending to schools,• e-museum on mathematics, science and professions,• Videos “Scientific experiments”,• “Dream story of my life” - a collection of imagined students’ biographies,• Posters about the project,• A collection of puzzles and exercises - digital tasks created with ICT tools and apps, • Online e-magazines.The project will have an overall impact on participating schools, students, teachers, various educational institutions and local communities. Thanks to the project activities students will become more aware of their abilities and the way they can use them after finishing school. Higher professional skills of teachers will widen their knowledge and motivate them to implement new approaches in their practices. Partner schools will get tools and materials which can be successfully integrated into curriculum in order to provide the students with the necessary help while deciding on their future. Local communities will widen their horizons experiencing different cultures and build an understanding of the European development policies.
